My favorite attraction in Tomorrowland is Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. I'm not a really big fan of Space Mountain. I'll ride it and don't have a problem but I really hate riding a roller coaster in the dark. Anyways, Buzz Lightyear is great and I love shooting the targets and spinning the vehicles. It reminds me of a ride at Myrtle Beach that my family used to ride that was like Buzz Lightyear, except it was western themed.

Day 2: Favorite Land in Magic Kingdom
This is a really tough one but I'd have to say that my favorite land in the Magic Kingdom is Frontierland. I love the western themed atmosphere that Frontierland has, in addition, Frontierland has two of the mountains in MK, Splash and Big Thunder Mountain. As previously mentioned, Splash Mountain is one of my favorite rides in MK and are definitely must dos when visiting Disney World.

Tagged!
So I was tagged by Katarina and here are 10 things you probably don't know about me!
1. I go to UNC, but I was born and raised a Duke fan. If you aren't into basketball you probably don't know what I'm talking about, but Duke and UNC is one of the biggest rivalries in the ACC.
2. I LOVE mexican food. I could eat it all day, every day, and never get tired of it. Take me out to eat at a mexican restaurant and we will be friends for life.
3. I hate snakes with a passion, even the small green ones. I can't look through a book with pictures of snakes or I freak out. If I see them on the road when I'm driving I freak out as well. Yeah, it's not a good thing.
4. One of my favorite candies is Hot Tamales. They're pretty much Heaven.
5. I dislike Italian food. I have to REALLY be in the mood for it to eat it.
6. I want a tattoo on my back shoulder blade. I don't know what of though.
7. I am addicted to Dr. Pepper. And when I say addicted, I'm not exaggerating. Sit me down with a 12 pack of Dr. Pepper and I'll drink it in only a couple of hours.
8. I'm going to school to become a Pediatric Surgeon. I love children and I recently job shadowed in an operating room and loved surgery, therefore, I might as well put the both together and become a Pediatric Surgeon.
9. My favorite animal is a Kangaroo, which makes me want to go to Australia really badly.
10. I had asthma really bad as a child, I don't really have it bad anymore except when I run (which isn't often. I can't believe I'm not overweight). Anyways, I almost died from an asthma attack when I was around 5. I couldn't breath, my chest was caving in, and my eyes were rolling back in my head. My dad was speeding on the way to the hospital and a cop pulled us over. The cop put me in his car and drove me to the hospital. By the time my dad got to the hospital, I was already back in the hospital bed with an IV in my arm.
The two people that I'm going to tag are Diana Kelly and Linda Kohlstock. Have fun!

Day 1: Favorite Walt Disney World Park
This is such a hard question because I like each park for different reasons.
My least favorite park is probably Hollywood Studios. Other than Tower of Terror, I just didn't really get a feel for that park. I didn't have a chance to ride Rockin' Roller Coaster, maybe that's why I'm partial to the other parks. But still, I don't feel as if the Studios had much to offer.
Up one from Hollywood Studios is Animal Kingdom. Animal Kingdom has so much to offer. I like how the park is split up into countries and there is an abundance of animals for guests to look at. Animal Kingdom also has great rides. A few of my favorites are Expedition: Everest, Dinosaur, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Kali River Rapids. Animal Kingdom also has Finding Nemo: The Musical and The Festival of the Lion King, which are both amazing shows.
My second favorite park is Magic Kingdom, meaning that Epcot is my favorite. Magic Kingdom is the essence of Disney. The mountains of the park are great rides, with Splash Mountain being my favorite. The other rides, like Buzz Lightyear and The Haunted Mansion, are great too. The park's atmosphere is amazing. It just screams "magical". With this being said, Epcot has great rides and I like the World Showcase. My favorite ride at Epcot would be Test Track, but Soarin' and Mission: Space are close seconds. The World Showcase is great. I love walking through each country and going through the shops. In addition, The Three Caballeros was the first ride I rode over the summer after not being to Disney World since I was 3. My family went to Epcot a total of 3 times on our vacation. The first visit was focused on The World Showcase. This was the same day that we arrived in Florida after a grueling 9 hour drive. Then the second visit was all about Futureworld. We then had an extra day after visiting all the parks and we all voted on the park we wanted to go to and we all chose Epcot and went in and rode the rides again. Epcot is great and will probably always be my favorite park.

When You Wish Upon a Star
Welcome to my blog! This whole blog will be dedicated to the Walt Disney World College Program. I am a Fall 2011 hopeful, counting down the days until applications come out! I cannot wait until applications come up so I can finally apply, interview, and hopefully go to Disney World in the fall.
First, let's start with the basics about me. My name is Cameron Blaze Hance (I figured I would include my middle name since everyone thinks that it is so cool). I'm 18 and a freshman at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Tar Heels!). My major is biology and I have high hopes of going to medical school to become a Pediatric Surgeon. I live in the small town of Smithfield, NC. I have some great and supportive friends that I may mention every now and then. I have to say that I am addicted to Dr. Pepper. It's basically like my drug. If they all of a sudden quit producing it I really have no clue what I would do. As mentioned in my profile, I have a cat whose name is Kiki. The funny thing is that I absolutely HATED cats until my mom brought Kiki home, who was abandoned and living under someone's porch. Also, I am a Christmas fanatic. I have a theory that it is completely acceptable for me to start listening to Christmas music in September because the month ends in "ber". Oh, and as of right now, I am addicted to the greatest game ever- Epic Mickey.
Enough about my personal life, what about what I like to call "my Disney life"? My top three roles for the program are Attractions, Merchandise, and Character Attendant, respectively. I want to work in the Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Like everyone else it seems, I want to either reside in Patterson or Chatham. I will be driving to Florida, meaning that I will have my car. I can't wait to go down and meet new people and have a really great time. Basically, living it up in Florida. This is random, and I figured that I should include it in this paragraph even though I have no way of tying it in.. My favorite Disney character is the cheshire cat. I like the animated version, but after seeing the live version I loved it. I went to Disney World over the summer and searched ALL the parks up and down for an item that related to the Cheshire Cat. The only thing that I could find was a mug in Hollywood Studios.
Anywho, I'll try to update this thing pretty regularly when I find something to talk about. I think a bunch of CPers are doing that 30 day Disney challenge. I'll probably end up doing that to pass some time. Follow me and if you have anything you want me to talk about then post a comment or hit me up on Facebook!
